When will the bus show up? How can I see when my student will be picked up or dropped off? First Student’s Parent View is the comprehensive and secure school bus tracking, communications and engagement tool for parents.

First View provides real-time access to:

Know where your student’s bus is through GPS tracking
Easily track all of your students at one time
Receive messages from your district on delays to schedule changes
Receive notification alerts when the bus is getting close

First View is available as an app for both Apple and Android devices. It is also available in an online browser version for your desktop computer – convenient for working parents.

Which First View app do I download?

First View Classic

First View Classic is available for any First Student yellow bus customer that was onboarded onto the product suite prior to August 2024. Please search for First View within in the App Store or Google Play. The app icon has a blue background.

First View 1.0

First View 1.0 became available to our First Alt customers in August 2024 and select districts that utilize our yellow school bus services in October 2024. Please search for First View 1.0 in the App Store or Google Play. This app icon has a red background.

What’s my Registration Type?

To find your Registration Type your district is subscribed to, log in to District View and locate your Registration Type under “See Walkthrough” in the menu.

Login to District View
Navigate to the yellow “See Walkthrough” menu item.
Your Registration Type will be visible in a similar manner to “ Your District Is Subscribed To”
Street – (Includes Street and Street w/ Security)
Student – (Includes Student and Student w/ Security)
GPS – (Includes GPS District Code, GPS Student, GPS Student w/ Security, and GPS Full Dashboard)
