Racine, Wisc. – More students and families in Wisconsin will be relying on First Student to provide the best start and finish to the school day for the 2019-20 school year and beyond. The Racine Unified School District has selected First Student to manage and operate all student transportation services for the next five years.

More than 11,000 students in the district will be riding buses with the latest technology. All 155 buses in the fleet will be equipped with GPS tracking systems and digital cameras.
First Student will also introduce FirstView® District Dashboard and Parent App, which helps districts and families better manage the before-and-after school rush. Families can receive their student’s bus status and district messages at their fingertips from their mobile phone or desktop.
The district will also have access to FirstActs. The web-based communication tool helps manage the process of tracking student conduct on the bus.
