CINCINNATI — FirstCharter Bus Rental is ready to start its engines for race fans. The division of the nation’s leader in student transportation is proud to partner once again with SP Plus Gameday to provide free shuttle service for race fans attending the 2012 Daytona 500 and its companion races. More than 340 buses and highly-trained drivers will be used to transport spectators from their parking spots to the Daytona International Speedway.
Shuttle service will be available between the Speedway and parking lot 7 on:

Friday, February 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Saturday, February 25 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, February 26 from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
First Student will also provide shuttle service on Sunday, February 26 between the Speedway and parking lot 10 from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“We are pleased to be a part of the world-famous Daytona 500.” said Mike Flaster, FirstCharter coordinator. “The race is one of the biggest events of the year for the community, and race fans can count on us to get to the track safely with no red flags.”
This marks the fourth year First Student has provided transportation for the event. Last year, shuttle buses transported 66,000 race fans from parking lots to the Daytona International Speedway.
