CINCINNATI— First Student, the nation’s leader in student transportation, has been selected to provide transportation for the Erie County Preschool and Early Intervention Program beginning in September. As a result, First Student is expanding its operations in Buffalo, New York, and is hiring 100 bus drivers and 100 monitors.

First Student currently employs more than 1,500 school bus drivers, monitors, mechanics and staff in the Western New York area. The company is hiring a total of 200 bus drivers and monitors to help serve students in the Erie County Preschool and Early Intervention Program. First Student will provide all necessary training.
First Student will hold the first of several hiring events on Tuesday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Student location at 2306 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga.
Prospective candidates must be at least 21-years-old and able to pass all background checks and drug screens. First Student offers competitive wages and a flexible, set schedule.
