CINCINNATI — First Student, Inc., the nation’s leader in student transportation, announces several new contracts in New England providing safe, reliable transportation for thousands of students to and from school each day. The new contracts include: The Trumbull Public Schools in Trumbull, Conn., awarded First Student a three-year, full-service contract, with an additional two-year option for operation of 72 school bus routes and a fleet of 83 vehicles. Services will include transportation to and from school and for extracurricular activities as well.
The South Kingstown School Department, in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, also has chosen First Student as its student transportation provider. The contract is a full-service, three-year agreement with an additional two-year option. With a fleet of 50 vehicles, First Student will transport students to and from school and extracurricular events. The William Penn School District has awarded First Student a five-year, full service contract. The school district serves 5,500 students from eleven schools in six communities southwest of Philadelphia.
