CINCINNATI — First Student, North America’s leader in student transportation, today announced that it has closed on the acquisition of Autobus Laval, Inc. Established in 1961, Autobus Laval offers home-to-school and charter services in the greater Quebec City area.
The organization brings a fleet of 179 vehicles, including seven electric school buses and charging stations, complementing First Student’s nearly 300 electric school buses in the region. First Student operates under its Autobus Transco brand in the province.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to applicable contractual and regulatory approvals.
