17 First Student drivers have qualified to compete at the National School Transportation Association’s (NSTA) Annual School Bus Driver International Safety Competition. School bus drivers from across North America will compete in this prestigious event, which includes a driving skill challenge and written exam to determine the top drivers in Conventional, Transit and Small Bus categories. This year’s competition takes place July 20-21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Drivers qualified for the event by placing in the top 10 of their state or province competition. Many First Student drivers competed in regional, state and provincial competitions leading up to the international event.
