The town of Tolland, Connecticut, recently celebrated its 300th anniversary. Our First Student team played an instrumental part in the planning and flawless execution of the town’s two-day celebration. More than 4,000 people attended the celebration.
Kate Farrish, secretary of the Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee, sent a letter of praise recognizing Location Manager Terri Scheidel and her team. “You were very responsive during the months of planning the events and on the day they were held,” shared Ms. Farrish. “You were an expert at moving so many people from so many different lots.”
Terri is still relatively new in her role as location manager. She accepted the assignment earlier this year. “Terri’s leadership and personal involvement with the planning and execution of the event, during an extremely busy time for her, was simply fantastic,” shared Area General Manager Ted Leclerc. “She was also very successful in getting others on her team engaged in the event, including holding a recruiting event at the same time. This is a great demonstration of community engagement!”
