More than 30Ontario First Student locations recently received an award from the InfrastructureHealth and Safety Association (IHSA).First Student Canada was one of five winners for one million hours without anaccident for a three-year period of time (2014, 2015 and 2016) and for posting a 20percent below group rate average in injury frequency and the cost-ratefactor.“I am so proud of these Locations for earning this distinguished safetyachievement award,” said Senior Vice President Troy Phinney. “It isevident that our employees understand and continually practice our safetydisciplines and best practices in their daily operations.”As part of Ontario’s health and safety system, IHSA is recognized by the Ministryof Labor, Ministry of Transportation and the Workplace Safety and InsuranceBoard.
