First Student believes in the value of community engagement. First Student locations that participate in community engagement projects build strong working relationships within our local communities. In October 2017, Location #20785 in Dayton, OH held a Fall Festival for their community partners. The three-hour event included food, games and fun activities for all ages including: a costume contest, face painting, pumpkin decorating contest and a haunted bus for children.. There also was a recruiting effort so staff members could greet guests and distribute flyers to qualified drivers to fill open positions.
