Ensuring that every child has a gift under the tree this Christmas, Location Manager Patty Kroupa and Dispatcher Sara McDermott at Location #25067 in Manor, Pennsylvania, enlisted the help of First Student drivers, monitors and mechanics to help “Stuff-a-Truck”.
The “Stuff-a- Truck” fundraiser is a collaborative effort with Penn Trafford Police Department, Penn Township Ministerium and the Penn Trafford High School Community Action Program to collect toys for underprivileged children in the Penn Trafford community and school district.
Throughout the week of November 28, Patty and Sarah collected enough toys, games, stuffed animals, coats and hats from team members to fill eight large bags. They later delivered all the items to the Penn Trafford Police Department to stuff their tactical truck with all the donations.
“We could not have done this community engagement project without the help of my kind-hearted, incredible team members,” said Patty. “I am so overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity in this project.”
We extend our thanks and appreciation to the team at location #25067.
