Location #20023 receives ASE Seal StatusLocation Manager Margo Sadowy from Location #20023 in Berlin, NJ is pleased to announce that her shop has been recognized by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for achieving the Blue Seal shop status. In order to receive Blue Seal certification, a shop must fall into one of the following categories: 1. At least 75 percent of technicians performing diagnostic tests and repairs must be ASE certified or 2. Each area of service offered in the shop must be covered by at least one ASE-certified technician. Recognition under this esteemed program is held for one year, and the shop is evaluated annually by ASE to ensure professional certification credentials remain current. Besides the ASE Blue Seal certification, the shop also reached Silver Wrench level designation through Lean Shop Operations, and is currently waiting to be certified gold upon completion of a shop audit. “We, at First Student, believe in safety and being accountable for performance,” said Margo. “This ASE Blue Shield certification is just an outward sign of the excellent training my technicians go through to ensure we uphold our value of Setting the Highest Standard. I am so incredibly proud of my staff.”
