Prom night was even more memorable for a high school student in St. Louis, thanks to one of our dedicated drivers.
When April Floyd learned that a single father on her route could not afford to send his daughter to prom, she went to McKinley High School and bought a prom ticket for the student. April did not stop there. She enlisted the help of her colleagues and they managed to secure a prom dress, shoes and jewelry for the student.
April says the straight “A” student is a pleasure to transport. April did not want her to miss out on a chance to attend her prom.
“To know her students so well and listen so carefully to what’s going on in their lives shows how dedicated April is to her young passengers,” shared Location Manager Tom Reeves. “We are all very grateful to April for exemplifying our First Student values.”
