In April, First student Location #20336 in Highland, Illinois donated two bicycles to the Highland-Pieroon Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt. More than one hundred children participated in the egg hunts. Two children, who found the winning eggs, rode away with brand new bikes. Driver Mary Kay Grant coordinated the project and presented the bikes to the lucky winners on behalf of First Student. Several businesses and organizations participated in the event by donating food and drinks and helped with children’s activities. “It was great to see such a large turn-out,” said Location Manager Karen Nickerson. “We were proud to participant in this opportunity to interact with the families of the children we transport.”
