First Student is the largest school bus transportation company in North America, carrying more than 4 million students safely on 60,000 yellow school buses to and from school each day.
Burtwistle joined First Student in January 2008, bringing 12 years experience in the transportation industry, most notably as Chief Financial Officer for Coach USA in Houston, Texas. Serving most recently as President of First Transit and First Services, leading service providers in public transit and large fleet maintenance, Burtwistle takes a wealth of experience to First Student.
