First Student is a proud sponsor of the 2021 St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the annual race is the largest single-day fundraising event for St. Jude Research Hospitals. This year’s race is on track to raise more than $12 million dollars.
Runners and fans alike will see First Student buses along the racecourse acting as barricades. First Student buses, however, are no stranger to the streets of Memphis. This school year, North America’s largest yellow school bus company took over transportation for Shelby County Schools. Everyday we ensure 23,000 area students arrive to school and back home safely.
“First Student is more than a yellow bus company, we’re a member of the community,” said First Student District Manager Adam Clary. “And there is no better way to demonstrate that commitment than to support St. Jude, with whom we share the common mission of caring for children.”
The race will take place December 4, 2021 in the heart of Memphis, TN. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5k and kids marathon.
