CINCINNATI — First Student is teaming up with Fox 19 and KISS 107 in Cincinnati for the 2012 Backpack Attack to collect school supplies for students in the Greater Cincinnati area. The goal is to receive enough supplies to fill more than 1,600 backpacks for students supported by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, the Brighton Center and Inner City Youth Opportunities.
Donations can be made in person at four live broadcast events in July and August as well as Remke bigg’s locations across Cincinnati. School supplies for students from kindergarten through high school are needed.
First Student will provide a bus to collect donations from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on:
- Friday, July 20 at Remke bigg’s in Hyde Park
- Friday, July 27 at Crestview Hills Town Center in Crestview Hills
- Friday, August 3 at Northgate Mall in Colerain Township
- Friday, August 10 at Rookwood Commons in Norwood
Since 2005, the Backpack Attack has helped more than 7,000 Cincinnati-area children receive the supplies they need for school.
