First Student is proud to sponsor AASA’s Superintendent of the Year program to show our respect for superintendents and honor them in a special way.
The Superintendent Spotlight is meant to honor each of the State level winners and highlight the accomplishments that earned them recognition as Superintendent of the Year for their respective home state in 2021.
Being a superintendent is a tough job any year, but 2020 was especially challenging. Districts worked tirelessly to manage the unknowns brought about by coronavirus while regularly adapting to continue providing students with a quality education.
We’re proud to partner with the superintendents in the 1,000+ districts we serve across North America, and we’re thrilled to sponsor this prestigious award and say thank you for all you do.
