Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions Scott Burkoth joined First Student in 2018. He is responsible for setting the strategy and leading
our M&A process by managing the target pipeline, negotiating terms and conditions, directing due diligence, and collaborating with integration teams.
Scott has nearly 20 years of experience, previously holding numerous roles within corporate strategy and M&A function at Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Scott has his bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Illinois University and his master’s in business administration from Northern Illinois University.
