Francis Lalonde serves as President of First Student in Canada, where he leads all aspects of the company’s Canadian operations with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer service. He brings extensive leadership experience across transportation, logistics, and manufacturing, with a particular emphasis on safety-first operations and team development.
Prior to joining First Student, Francis served as Chief Commercial Officer at KNNX Corp, leading global commercialization of the company’s collaboration platform. He previously served as Vice President of Transportation for Walmart Canada, overseeing one of the country’s largest private transportation networks. Earlier in his career, Francis held senior leadership roles with Sysco Canada and served as Director of Integrated Business Planning for Dyno Nobel, a global leader in explosives manufacturing.
Francis holds a master’s degree in international relations and a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
